You can use either side independently of the other, allowing you to cook one dish only, or to cook two foods – each can have its own different settings if needed. While this may not be the air fryer for everyone, we think that this would be a great kitchen appliance for those with big families who want to keep meal times healthy and fast. An air fryer is essentially a small convection oven, circulating hot air around the food to get that crispy outer layer and fluffy or moist inside. It’s convenient and easy to use, although the lack of higher temperatures means that it can’t quite deliver the same crispy results as the competition. After testing out the Salter Dual Air Fryer, I could happily see myself never using an oven or pan full of oil ever again.We would have benefited from more cooking guidance for vegetables, but cooking time and temperatures are easily adaptable so experimenting to achieve your personal favourites would be doable.
