With this insight, our R&D centres in Mumbai, Vlaardingen and Port Sunlight, sought to create a laundry product from scratch that uses 100% active ingredients and is twice as concentrated as powder. The new formulation, produced in Lord Lever’s first-ever soap factory in Warrington, removes stains effectively with less mess than a powder, but with the care and intense freshness of a liquid. This new technology allows fragrance molecules to cling to fabric throughout the wash.

It leaves NO residue on clothes so will enable them to look brighter and be better cared for, it also contains a fragrance release technology which allows the fragrance to stay on fabric longer and come out in burst was you move! I have done 10 washes with the new Persil Ultimate Powergems and have been delighted with the results. I have not had to rewash any of the clothes and it even managed to get tomato sauce out of a school shirt with no pre-treating.

I am going to be honest and say that Persil is my go to washing liquid. It doesn’t aggravate Maxi’s eczema, Mini likes the smell and it is reliable. I also try and keep on top of the laundry and not let stains set (something I learned from my mum). Also, this is a paid review but that doesn’t influence my opinion and I will always be honest, I put on a load first thing in the morning and another load around lunchtime and I usually wash every second day.
