About this deal

The difference between them is basically pink horrors split into blue horrors when they die. Pink horrors are jovial, manic and excitable as they sling spells around the battlefield after they split... Warpstorm Table is entirely gone. I’ll miss the powerful buffs available. I won’t miss the turns I rolled 1 or 2 Warpstorm points and didn’t get to actually use any of those powerful buffs. Exalted Sorcerer • Sorcerer • Warpsmith • Dark Apostle • Master of Possession • Master of Executions • Lord Discordant • Warsmith • Death Guard Sorcerer • Lord of Contagion • Malignant Plaguecaster • Plague Surgeon • Tallyman • Scarab Occult Sorcerer • Scarab Occult Terminators

When employing blast weapons or psychic powers, try to make sure some Horrors are ‘inconveniently’ standing close by, and try to position the template as close to them as possible to maximize the chance that they ‘accidentally’ get caught in the affect. Lord of Change • Herald of Tzeentch ( Changecaster • Fateskimmer • Fluxmaster) • Daemon Prince of Tzeentch • Disc of Tzeentch • Flamer • Horror • Screamer • Burning Chariot of TzeentchBlue Horrors, also called " Spinning Sourguts," and " Grumblers," are diminutive replicas of their parent Daemon, though their temperament is quite different. They are sullen and malicious, like evil-tempered children, and wear perpetual scowls as they sneer and grumble their way through a battle. No Mercy, No Respite secondaries are probably going to make more sense with a Nurgle-heavy army where Grind Them Down can benefit large plaguebearer squads that are hard to remove, or large units of Horrors that can split models and be a chore to grind through, making it likely you can score points for Grind Them Down on a smaller number of kills. Your game plan already relies on killing more units than your opponent most games, anyways. Thin Their Ranks isn’t liable to be something you’ll look at and is really more something you want to make sure you’re not giving up inadvertently – taking 90 pink horrors with splitting is going to make this one a no-brainer against you. While We Stand, We Fight isn’t likely to be a good play, since it’s most often going to double-reward an opponent for killing your greater daemons. Our invulns versus shooting have largely become worse. Our invulns versus melee have largely become better. With variable Daemon Saves being removed in favor of one flat invuln save per unit, our defensive profiles have been simplified. The good news is that with “ignores invuln” effects being almost entirely removed from the game, our invuln saves will actually feel like invuln saves again. Note that Daemons aren’t hypocrites about this: Our three big sources of “ignore invulns” damage ourselves, Skarbrand, Be’lakor, and Skulltaker, have all lost their “ignore invulns” rules. The only way known way to end a Pink Horror's jubilant mood is to blow it to pieces or otherwise cut it apart. It is then that the Pink Horror undergoes a total transformation, splitting into halves that reshape themselves into smaller copies of the original. These new Daemons are different from their predecessor in two respects. The first is that their colour changes from pink to vivid blue, earning them the name of Blue Horrors. The second change is that the gleeful attitude of the Pink Horror is reversed -- Blue Horrors are morose, whining and petty, eternally squabbling about whose fault it was that they lost their pink status once again. This way I can start with either 11 Pink models, or 2x 11 Blue models, using the pink & blue Brimstones as unit "fillers" which may be based 1 per base rather than as a pair

This list makes heavy use of Nurglings to get out in front of the otherwise slow-moving Death Guard units and hold objectives early on. The Chaos Daemons Daemon Prince of Nurgle gives the army an extra psyker without opening it up to too much to Abhor the Witch, while giving it the Locus of Virulence aura that can apply to the Plagueburst Crawlers and boost their damage output while both Daemon Princes can lend their re-roll 1s auras to the tanks as they rumble forward shooting their improved Entropy Cannons. The Blightspawn can also boost the PBCs’ output with the ability to re-roll wounds and he can take out incoming threats himself or combine with the Daemon Princes to make a nightmare counter-charge duo with his 10″ fight last aura. this helps you generate even more Fate Points and gives the Kairic Acolytes a clear niche when compared to the other main Battleline choice in the book, Tzaangors. The Bloodthirster and Great Unclean one are still overpriced and the Great Unclean one suffers from the new terrain rules, which make it visible through obscuring terrain. The rest of the HQs made out OK with 5- and 10-point adjustments with the exception of the Winged Daemon Prince of Chaos (+30), who is the big loser here as a result of the inexplicable need to make every Daemon Prince cost the same amount of points despite having different statlines, rules, and powers. The Winged Daemon Prince was already a rare sight in Chaos Daemons and so that’s not likely to change now. The much-maligned Heavy Support slot for Chaos Daemons saw a collection of 10-point increases for every unit. This isn’t that big an increase, but most of the Daemons Heavy Support choices are hampered by being Chariots and not Vehicles or Monsters, meaning they get nothing out of the new rules. The exception is the biggest winner of these rules and points changes: The Soul Grinder, which in going from 180 to 190 points sees only a small percentage increase, and as a Vehicle gains the benefits of Big Guns Never Tire. Fortifications You would have to move your locus Herald from the pinks to the blues to get that many brimstones, which is probably not gonna happen in practice... But still... So no fun.

Opponent’s Deployment Zone: If you control at least half of the objective markers in your opponent’s deployment zone, then his/her deployment zone is considered within the Shadow Of Chaos. Screamers are worth looking into as well. Their points increase was minor, and they combine fast movement with a 4+ invulnerable save and the ability to hurt Infantry and Vehicles now thanks to Lamprey Bite. Blazing Squealers - These Exalted Pink Horrors are living conduits to the realm of Tzeentch, channelling volatile warpfire directly from his dark abode, the Realm of the Sorcerer. [4] The Keeper of Secrets’ datasheet got updated again, returning the unit to its rightful 14″ Movement.

Burning Chariot of Tzeentch - Disc of Tzeentch - Flamer of Tzeentch ( Exalted) - Herald of Tzeentch - Horror of Tzeentch ( Blue - Brimstone - Pink) - Lord of Change ( Exalted) - Screamer of TzeentchEach God is represented here once, with 4 Enhancements in the index that each play into a strength of their respective God. They also have synergy with the Shadow Of Chaos rule, adding another level of strategy to how you use your units. Hosts Duplicitous - Grand Cabal - Transcendental Change - Hosts Arcanum - Seekers of Infinite Wisdom - Eternal Conflagration - Legion of Fate - Lords of Dominion - Unbound Flux HQ: Keeper of Secrets w/Living Whip, Exalted: Random, Powers: Hysterical Frenzy, Delightful Agonies HQ: Death Guard Daemon Prince of Nurgle [9 PL, 195pts]: 1. Miasma of Pestilence, Hellforged sword, Wings So I have 60-odd Horrors, and intend to add another 20 or so (mostly Brimstones), and that seems reasonable and manageable. Oh don’t get me wrong, I know what I said earlier and I certainly don’t mean to start them all on the table all at once. Indeed, I’ve determined that I don’t intend to likely ever begin with more than 2-3 units of Horrors in my armies anymore. In addition, I’ll likely stop bringing the Portalglyph (once a staple) in my Tzeentch Daemon armies altogether, and as I said earlier, I’ll probably rarely, intentionally, summon more Pink Horrors.

Just as a dying Pink Horror splits into two lesser incarnations, a slain Blue Horror will split once more into a pair of Brimstone Horrors. Named for a stench so strong it offends even other Daemons, these diminutive Warp creatures may look bright and whimsical, but they are in truth spiteful and vindictive. They realize that the glories of authority and prominence are forever beyond them.

Basically, turning 20 Pinks into 160 Brims is so ridiculously unlikely that anyone planning for this is going to be disappointed. Now it’s time to add additional details and accents to enhance the overall look of the miniatures. Use smaller brushes to paint details like the eyes, teeth, and claws. You can use colors like Yriel Yellow for the eyes and Rakarth Flesh for the teeth. Take your time and be patient while painting these intricate parts. Point of fact, the Blue Horrors are still a tinsy bit bigger than the old metal Pink Horrors. Since those metal Pinks are still a vaild model to use, painting some of the new Blues pink is perfectly fine For Example: 40 Pinks would probably never split to more than 50-60 Blues before some of those Blues get further split to Brims
