The proposal scene is legit one of my favorite scenes in this book and series. I love it so much. On another note, the car accident is one of the most emotional yet powerful too. Gosh their love is just so beautiful. It hits me so hard in the feels. These two will forever be one of my favorite couples. I swear. I am Lily, Lily is me. #Marrow for life!

My answer: GIRLLLLLL READ THE ADDICTED SERIES. NOW. I know, I know - there are a lot of books. But you will not regret one minute of it. It remains my all-time favorite series and every time I think about it, I wish that I could spend an eternity with the characters. I cannot stress enough how unique and amazing the writing is, and how it has made me feel these fictional characters were real life people who have buried themselves in my heart. With Krista & Becca's writing, you feel all of the characters’ pain, the joy, the love; their highest of highs and their lowest of lows. He’s usually pretty much like this around me. Short sentences. In a hurry. But he never makes me feel like I’m an embarrassment. What if…I just give you my heart and soul for safe-keeping?” I ask tearfully. “We’ve made a swap then. ‘Cause I’m pretty sure you already have mine.” I relate to Donnelly and Luna so much it’s unreal. They deserve the world in every universe Luna & Donnelly exist 🥹so u want to say, that luna hale is the only person in the world who loves space and obsessed with the galaxy stuff? ohmygod this is makes sense🤩. there were literally no proofs that this was her account, but yeah who cares anyway? we just need some drama of the characters’ personal information being leaked to the internet. again. why not right?

Farrow is wonderful. I like the way he thinks and acts. He is just generally a likable character. His confidence, intelligence, sarcasm, protectiveness, honesty, and sweetness. Also, I appreciate the way his career path played out at the end.

Chapter 23-24: Maximoff is organizing a Hallow Friends Eve party for his cousin Sullivan Meadows so she can get drunk for the first time. He and Farrow have sex, but nearly get caught by Quinn. Farrow and Jane talk about trying to become friends for Maximoff's sake. Later, they're watching a horror movie and playing a drinking game. Kinney texts Maximoff upset that she wasn't invited. Suddenly, the front window of the townhouse is smashed. If he says you’re “good people”—he’ll surround himself around you, and you’ll be glad. Because he’s the kind of man who puts his whole soul into what he loves, and if he loves you, goddamn. Akara, Farrow, Jane, Sullivan and Maximoff are preparing to confront Brad, Tyler and their friends. They'd been making more lewd suggestions and comments about Jane. Sullivan and Akara decide not to go confront them and stay behind. Meanwhile, Maximoff and Jane go to confront them. People start videoing them with their phones when an article goes public accusing Maximoff and Jane of being in an incestuous sexual relationship.

Damaged Like Us is my first book from the Ritchies (Krista Ritchie and Becca Ritchie) and I really struggled with it. What age level would be appropriate? Mature audience. Explicit details on sex. Sensitive topics such as sexual harassment, sexual violation/pornography, bullying, etc. Ps. The Like Us series is a true series, one continuous timeline, that follows a family of wealthy celebrities and the people that protect them. They can be read and enjoyed without reading any of Krista & Becca's other novels. His grin brightens. “Don’t think that’s possible, space babe.” Before I ask, he lowers towards my lips and whispers, “You are the moon.”I was struggling with my rating because I couldn't figure out if this was more of a 5 star or 4 star book. I really wish Goodreads would make a .5 star option because it's such a struggle choosing. After much thought and speculation I'm going to give it 5 stars because this book really was the perfect Marrow (Maximoff x Farrow) book. It has allll the scenes with them and we really get to see them grow not only in their relationship but individually. I really loved being able to get to know Farrow more, I always liked him but this book really made me appreciate his character more. I first fell in love with Krista & Becca's writing when I read Addicted to You and at the time I had no possible idea of how much I was gonna fall in love with their writing, their characters and basically the whole Addicted Gang. It was so bittersweet when they ended that series. Of course, I already knew they were gonna write the kid's books, which in the beginning I was skeptical about, to be honest.

The emotional scenes were especially powerful. Alexander Cendese and JF Harding did a wonderful job voicing these two characters.Luna relaxes her weight against my side. Her head softly on my arm, I stroke her hair out of her eyes and behind her ear in a melodic motion. Over and over, my fingers grazing the ribbons she tied throughout her light brown strands.
