About this deal

Still, buying one scooter and using it from 15 months to the age of six spreads the cost quite far, and it definitely seems robust enough to pass down to younger siblings afterwards. Assuming you’re able to muster the initial price tag, the Go Up Comfort Play feels like great value for money overall. Final verdict Patented folding system enables folded and trolley mode on the toddler scooter. With an easy-to-use side push button, easily carry and store your light-up foldable scooter with seat in compact spaces. Adjustable scooter with seat: 2-height adjustable TPR seat (23.9cm, or 27.4cm from the ground), adjusted by a tool-less knob on the side, and a 3-height adjustable T-bar (67.5cm, 72.5cm, 77.5cm from the ground) for comfy rides. A greener world on wheels: GO•UP FOLDABLE PLUS ECOLOGIC helps families around the globe live and breathe eco values and choices. It’s made with 100% Global Recycled Standard plastic and biodegradable wheat-straw*. How adjustable is it? You can expect a few growth spurts during the leap from preschool to Year 1, so you want a scooter that can adapt as your child grows. Many scooters feature height-adjustable stems that allow the handlebars to be set at the correct height for the rider for a safer and more comfortable ride. As a general rule, the handlebars should be set to match the rider's waist height.

How does it steer? Most 4 and 3-wheeled scooters are lean-to-steer – as the rider leans left or right, the scooter gently curves in the same direction and the handlebars provide balance rather than controlling the direction of scooting. This makes for easier, smoother and safer scooting for younger and less experienced riders. Happily, the Go Up Comfort Play complies with three safety laws: the relevant EN:71, and international standards ASTM F2264 and F963 (which regulate safety warnings for toys). There’s a basic standard of safety before we even begin. Let’s look at the frame and materials

Shoes are mandatory and we strongly advise you to wear trousers and long sleeve shirts to avoid injury if you fall. What brakes does it have? Toddlers don't tend to have the gross or fine motor skills to operate hand or foot brakes. If you have a little speed demon on your hands you may want to consider a scooter with parental controls, so you can hold the handle and control your child's speed, especially when scooting alongside a road. Our tester’s three-year-old delighted in the Go Up Comfort Play, maintained her interest in it over time and rode it constantly – over long distances and short ones, leaving it out in all weathers. Walking bike mode: When the T-bar and footrest have been removed, the Globber GO·UP FOLDABLE PLUS ECOLOGICAL transforms into a walking bike to help your child grow in confidence whilst practising balance skills. GO•UP FOLDABLE PLUS is provided with an adjustable seat which can be adapted to the child’s height (2 positions). Unscrew the knob and slide up/down to adjust the seat height. Align the seat through the screw holes in the connector tube & retighten the knob.

Standing on the scooter, one hand on each handle, push with one of your feet to move forward. Proceed with caution at the start. Modifications: the original product must by no means be modified except for the maintenance-related changes mentioned in these instructions. Ride-on mode: The 2-height adjustable parent handle and extra wide, removable footrest provide reassurance and support for your little one in ride-on mode. The two battery-free LED front wheels light-up in red, green, and blue, so your little ones can enjoy glowtastic rides all day long! An 80mm rear PU casted wheel mounted on ABEC 5 bearings ensures safety and stability. A 3-wheel eco scooter with seat for toddlers and kids that transforms into a ride-on (15-36M), walking bike (15-36M), and toddler scooter (3-7Y+), GO•UP FOLDABLE PLUS ECOLOGIC has the same structural integrity as the iconic original but uses more eco materials for less environmental impact.

\r\n\t\t\tGlobber Go Up Foldable Plus Eco Kids Scooter - Extra Info

All-in-one foldable scooter with seat that transforms into a ride-on, walking bike, and toddler scooter. Ride-on and walking bike modes are designed for toddlers aged 15-36 months and scooter mode is for kids aged 3-7+.

How does it steer? Two-wheeled scooters, which are aimed at older and more experienced riders, are turn-to-steer: moving the handlebar changes the direction of the front wheel, which gives more control and tighter turning. GO UP FOLDABLE PLUS is a 3-wheel ride-on for toddlers aged 15m to 7+. This handy design features a ride-on, walking bike and scooter all-in- one! Thanks to its 100% tool-less design, you can easily and conveniently transform it to all three modes with Globber’s patented push-button folding mechanism. Adaptability is key, and the 100% tool-less design and 3-height adjustable T-bar make it easy to transform the sustainable scooter into a ride-on, walking bike, and scooter. Perfect for little ones aged 15-36 months in ride-on and walking bike modes, and 3-7+ year olds in scooter mode. The scooter is intended to be used from the age of three. In walking bike and scooter mode, there’s little noise when in motion and the scooter leans to turn smoothly. This can be mastered in walking bike mode so that your toddler is already fairly familiar with it when trying the scooter for the first time.All-in-one eco scooter with seat that transforms into a ride-on, walking bike, and toddler scooter. Ride-on and walking bike modes are designed for toddlers aged 15-36 months and scooter mode is for kids aged 3-7+. The Go Up Comfort Play comes in quite a compact box with a sturdy plastic handle for carrying, measuring 58cm (l) x 22cm (w) x 26cm (h). It’s full of useful information, with the three main modes illustrated in diagrams, and age, weight and seat height ranges very clearly labelled. Steering: GO•UP FOLDABLE PLUS’ steering responds intuitively to the movement of the body (Diagram B). GO•UP FOLDABLE PLUS comes with a connector tube which is used to fix the seat. There are 2 different seat heights available: 23.9 – 27.4cm from the ground. For a comfortable ride, your child’s feet should easily touch the footrest and the ground.

A planet-friendly playmate to see your child through their childhood years. The Globber GO·UP FOLDABLE PLUS ECOLOGICAL is made with 100% Global Recycled Standard plastic and biodegradable wheat-straw*, meaning your child can have maximum scooting fun with minimum environmental impact. The model we tested was the Globber Comfort Play but, since the end of our testing period, the model has been renamed the Go Up Comfort Play, so that’s the name we’ll be using in this review. The design and all other details are identical. It’s still listed as the Comfort Play by a few smaller retailers. Scooter mode: In scooter mode, the seat and support bar are removed easily and replaced with the T-bar to create a full-on scooting experience. In the pink model our tester used, dirt became trapped in the ridges on the baseboard and was visible because of the light colour. This would be easy to spray off, however, and the wheels and hand grips didn’t mark at all during the testing period. The plastic frame did bleach in the unusually hot sun of the summer, so we recommend stowing it in the shade in good weather. This only affected the aesthetics of the scooter, not the functionality. Related: The best bikes for kids of all ages What is the Globber Go Up Comfort Play like to look at? The baseboard is a little more flimsy than the older, more substantial Globber models or even the 3StyleScooters or Micro Scooters competitors, and it bows just a little when jumped on. This didn’t affect performance or longevity, but our tester didn’t feel the scooter should be used anywhere near its maximum weight limit of 50kg. Warning! An adult must always hold the parent handle when the child’s feet are on the footrest and both hands are on the seat’s handlebars, to avoid the child falling.
