Like its predecessor, the sequel drops protagonist Link into a massive world full of Shrines, Korok Seeds, armor sets, iconic weapons, roaming dragons, and Great Fairies. What’s more, there are basically two extra open worlds to explore this time around, and plenty of experimental hijinks to enact along the way. Which is all to say that by the time you finally decide to confront the Demon King Ganondorf, any number of hours may have passed since the last cutscene or crucial plot point. Once you get to the other side (with vases and some ore), you can climb up both manually and/or using Ascend. In A Link to the Past, it is told that the land of Hyrule is located within the Light World. The reason for this is because, prior to the events of the game, Ganon took power of the Sacred Realm after reaching the whereabouts of the Triforce, and turned said realm into the Dark World; therefore, when a being from the Light World somehow moves to the Dark World, he or she loses any protection against darkness and shapeshifts. Only when the individual exits from Ganon's domains, he or she will recover from its influence upon exposure to light. Akin to the rest of the dragons in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can farm dragon parts from the Light Dragon. When using Light Dragon parts for Fuse combinations, the part will imbue the Fused weapon with a healing effect and will restore a quarter of a heart per hit.
Keep in mind that once you’ve recovered the Master Sword and the quest is complete, the marker will dissipate. If you want to be able to easily locate the Light Dragon to farm materials from it (more on this later), you might want to hold off on getting Link’s emblem weapon. There are multiple ways of finding the Light Dragon. If you’ve been focusing on the main story, you can pinpoint the Master Sword’s location by finding all 12 Dragon Tear memory locations. That method requires a lot of legwork, but thankfully, there are other, less time-consuming ways. You’ll see — gasp — three red pillars straight ahead. Run straight there and try not to take any unnecessary turns, as your map will still be obscured by the sandstorm.

The release was originally planned for 2021 and was eventually delayed until 2022. But it is out now, and it is absolutely incredible. Interestingly, all Lightroots have a corresponding Shrine on the Surface above them, so if you've located a specific Shrine above ground, you can work your way towards the same spot in the Depths to find a Lightroot there.
