Tbh I had really low expectations for this book. Mile High and The Right Move had fun characters and some cute moments but I wasn’t super impressed with the overall writing quality. Also, I really went into this thinking who tf is Kai and why should I care about this man????? As a high-end pastry chef who recently won the most prestigious award in my industry, I’m desperate to prove I deserve it.
