Considered the pinnacle of the Metaxa product range, the 12 Star is so titled because the base brandies that are used before marrying with botanicals and Muscat wine have been aged for a minimum of 12 years in Limousin oak casks. A noble varietal, Muscat has been yielding wines of the highest aromatic concentration since Antiquity. Made using Muscat wines that have been selected from the Samos region in Greece and brandy, Metaxa 12 Stars is a tasty Greek brandy with a full palate of chocolate, orange peel and floral notes.
