Great selection to choose from, the menu was varied and interesting, I had the veggie breakfast and it was delicious, you can tell the ingredients were of good quality. There are lots of people who have walked this journey before you, ready to share their learning and local networks meeting together to inspire and build each other up.
The group meets regularly at Todmorden Unitarian Church and manages plantings and other food producing projects throughout the town. It strives to engage with schools, local farmers, and businesses by sharing knowledge and passion for food growing and cooking. If you are going to go to the effort of growing your own fruit and vegetables then why not try something a bit different. We are a purely not for profit voluntary group working for the benefit of our community in all that we do. Being a keen allotment gardener I was really keen to get this, but when it arrived I was rather disappointed. From a food standpoint, the organization has increased its total produce output by 37% in the past year. Together with the realisation of the power of small actions bringing individuals in communities together, a community-led framework was born for improving social, economic and environmental wellbeing.for a meal, drink and dessert plus they have a great kids area with lots of toys, colouring in etc to keep the children entertained. The aim of the project is to educate students about growing fruit and vegetables and to increase their knowledge of food origin and quality.
