I don't know what you mean by "Windows 8 never actually runs anything as admin unless told to do so explicitly by selecting "Run as Administrator"". The video, below, shows footage of the game played with the "install disc" installed to the Xbox 360 hard drive, as is mandatory, and the "play disc" installed to a USB flash drive. Some mention that it is an excellent game with great longevity, reliable service, and a good solid product. Dare giudizi ad un’opera come GTA V è davvero riduttivo, spendere anche tante parole sembra mai come in questo caso davvero troppo poco, si rischia di tralasciare alcuni aspetti del gioco che anche se secondari contribuiscono a dare quel senso di maestosità che Rockstar ha voluto donare alla sua creatura. Pur essendo un titolo che comunque ha venduto una quantità spropositata di copie l’anno scorso, anche quest’anno GTA V si è fatto particolarmente sentire, e in Inghilterra, infatti, nell’arco di una settimana è stato raggiunto il record di vendite.

You must sign up to the Grand Theft Auto social club to play even in story mode but this is not a problem - they don't bombard you with junk mail.I doubt it's the disc because I have 2 copies of the game here, and none of the 4 discs can be read. Does one of the 7 discs have to always be inserted to play GTA V, or can you install it and play without disc. The modes can be used at any time apart from during the cutscenes, as it cuts away to third person mode. By the way, I was little concerned about some of the clauses it wants you to accept (I didn`t bother reading the back until I was well into downloading the 60 gig) and it concerned me when it mentioned `periodic entitlement verification`, I doubt I would have bought the game had i known that from the start. Pity about the DRMs and the `periodic Entitlement verification`, and micro transactions otherwise it would have all 5.

It's a shame that this hasn't been locked down to a specific date yet as not all players will be keen to commit to a digital purchase of the game.

UPDATE 1: Digital Foundry, which has access to the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto 5, has offered an explanation for Rockstar's recommendation against installing the "play" disc. It plays smoothly either in 3rd person mode (you look down on your character) or 1st person mode (you see through the eyes of your character), the level of detail is incredible, driving is fun with different vehicles behaving differently, and combat is fun, varying between easy and difficult (for me at least) at points in the game. The funniest thing I've seen, heard and played from start to finish, Trevor is just a mess of a guy, but likeable in every heap of the word, with his griminess, foul language and horniness coupled with the fact he hates just about everything society throws at him.
