I realised it's probably much cheaper than the equivalent headphones as the drivers don't need to be nearly as big. If you prefer foam tips and have a pair you've used in the past, it could be worth switching out the default foam tips and using your own instead.

There is, however, a good point about this treble before I go off tearing it a new one, and that is that electric guitars with these mids and treble feel genuinely striking, aggressive and kinda rad to listen to. Then we get to the pre-formed ear hooks and the only issue I have with the cable whereby it's too firm and aggressively curved.

Despite some initial worries regarding sound (more on that later), we were pleasantly surprised after first listening impressions.
