About this deal

I wouldn't use it on high risk areas where mechanical damage from the road is likely, such as the exposed underside of the car.

Whilst dynax S50 is primarily a cavity rustproofing compound it’s also able to prevent corrosion in a multitude of mud traps and water collecting voids. Atomisation into enclosed cavities and voids is recommended to ensure thorough coverage of all surfaces. You can see all the panels photographed at intervals throughout the test, the test was carefully conducted with all the products applied to the correct film thicknesses – no product will work if its not on the panel – that might sound silly but a certain mag carried their test in that way. Dynax-S50 will provide excellent protection at a wide-range of film thickness – aim to achieve a uniform dry-film thickness of around 50 microns. Provides long-lasting protection to pre-corroded and corrosion-free surfaces whilst able to arrest existing corrosion. dynax S50 is tolerant of a broad range of application pressures and will form a coherent film upon application.

dynax S-50 has been used with superb results to protect voids and cavities in steel boats, vessels, off shore installations and other steel structures subject to severely corrosive atmospheres. If you go to marinas, you'll see it being used now all the time, as vessels are put to bed for winter. The beauty of Hydrate is that it will start resolving the problem from the moment you apply it, and it protects if you're unable to apply primer or paint as soon as you'd like. I think I said elsewhere, that if I had a decent new car, I'd use a cavity wax on it, and certainly on a bog standard car that's just a few years old.The arch liners had done a good job, minimal dirt behind them, but I degreased throughly to ensure adhesion of the Dynax S50 later. Dynax-S50 will provide excellent protection at a wide-range of film thickness aim to achieve a uniform dry-film thickness of around 50 microns.

dynax S-50 has been proven to substantially outperform competitive material in salt-spray trials under conditions of ASTM B117.I always spray too much in and then catch it from all the drain holes in old ice cream tubs, which you can then use to brush on. Tbh I think it would be ok, if you built it up in layers over a day or so it should be strong enough as it's a waxy substance.

From an application point of view, I found Dynax s50 much easier to apply than Waxoyl (which I've used in the past). the right hand product in this capillary test is Dynax, the centre one a well known High Street brand and the one on the left - a Swedish make, costing twice as much. You'll be left with clean steel and then you can treat it as you see fit, depending on the amount of good steel that you are left with (I'll assume that you have no perforated metal). The technical storage or access is strictly necessary for the legitimate purpose of enabling the use of a specific service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user, or for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network. Dynax-S50 will provide excellent protection at a wide-range of film thickness - aim to achieve a uniform dry-film thickness of around 50 microns.

Dynax-S50 contains highly polar corrosion inhibitors that are able to displace surface moisture; very wet surfaces should be pre-treated using Bilt-Hamber Ferrosol.
