About this deal

Whatever you decide though, it’s clear – EPOS | SENNHEISER have got you covered in the gaming headset market. In more ways than one. I have 4 gaming sets in the house. For music they are the second best sounding, for gaming they are the best. They are also the most comfortable. Others tend to sit to low and cause my ears to hurt. They do have a bit of force, but that is fixed in most cases by the tension adjustment on the top of the headband. This is separate from extending the size. Between both adjustments they should fit most people. They also swivel at the ear cups to help reduce pressure points. It works. It just works. Never have mis-feeds or alibi's. The only time I have trouble is with badly produced ammo. Otherwise, it just about eats everything and functions all of the time. While the frame of EPOS|SENNHEISER GSP 500 is largely due to its robust & sturdy build design, they’ve provided adjustable sliders on top to adjust the clamping force.

Again, using the GSX 300 in conjunction with the GSP 500 headset offers you some great microphone controls. You get three voice effects of which warm is the best, adding a warmth of bass to your voice without distorting it. There’s also more controls for Gain, side tone and the amount of noise-cancelling. Sennheiser GSP 500 - Q&A

The EPOS|SENNHEISER GSP 500 is by far, one of the best gaming headsets in the market and it delivers fantastic sound quality. The EPOS|SENNHEISER GSP 500 gives a lot of immersive feeling and it really does make you feel like you’re inside the game. If you have been hardcore gaming with your GSP 500, GSP 550 GSP 600 and GSP 670 headphones, then at some point those ear pads are going to fall apart. Give your Sennheiser GSP 500, GSP 550, GSP 600 or GSP 670 headphones many more gameplay hours with these Accessory House replacement ear pads. While it isn’t ideal for eSports, the ear cup design fits your ears perfectly and puts a balance between comfort and functionality. If you’re at home and it’s a summer season, this headset is going to help you. A Robust and Sturdy Build Most minimalist people might find it annoying, but the EPOS|SENNHEISER GSP 500’s build is bulky. This is still a good trade-off, considering the build quality is durable.

The RRS system is fantastic. I mostly shoot bullseye, and I never loose the target or the dot during recoil. In fact, for most shots, the dot is still well inside the target frame. AHG DESIGN AND BUILD QUALITY –These AHG ear pads are compatible with GSP 500 GSP 550 GSP 600 GSP 670 headphones. These AHG ear pads are made with a HYBRID combination of PROTEIN LEATHER on the sides (increasing sound isolation) ALCANTARA on the top (for a smooth feel) and soft high-density foam (for great comfort). The headset also has a low clamping force to provide a great fit and comfort meaning you’ll be able to wear this headset on longer sessions. Homedics The latest massage technology from the #1 brand in health & wellness, HoMedics introduces gel technology. Soft, firm and smooth motions, that’s how a real massage should feel. Set into our revolutionary massage mechanism, HoMedics Gel Shiatsu Massage Pillow captures the palm-like feel of a real massage.

As with every Sennheiser gaming headset, the GSP 500 has been designed from the ground up to enhance every aspect of the gaming experience and let you perform at your very best,” said Andreas Jessen, Head of Product Management Gaming, Sennheiser Communications A/S. “As well as delivering superior audio and comfort, a fully immersive gaming experience also depends on effortless ease of use and communication – even in the midst of fast-paced action.”

The microphone will automatically mute if you slide it upwards. Both other sides of ear cups have a circular slider; with the left one for microphone, and the right one for volume adjustment. Now that we’re done with the design section of the headset let’s move on to the key features. Key Features of the EPOS|SENNHEISER GSP 500 The best performing sport pistol is not simply more intuitive, more ergonomic, more accurate. The best performing sport pistol paves the way for the perfect symbiosis of pistol and athlete. The GSP 500 follows the same styling cues as its big brother the GSP 600 series. The thing is massive with huge comfy ear cups that swallow your ears whole. The air traffic controller vibe is strong here with a chunky headband with its unique slide-to-fit mechanism. The ear cups connect to the headband with an intimidating metallic hinge better suited to a Caterpillar earth mover. This 2-axis hinge allows the cups to easily contort to different head sizes and shapes. Now, let’s move on to the next section of our EPOS|SENNHEISER GSP 500 review, the specifications. SpecificationsThe mic is as good as it gets for gaming headphones. No issues there. The flip up to mute the mic is handy. Avoid this item at all costs, it's not the German engineered quality you are looking for and there are much better options out there.

This applies across games and movies as well. Dialogue sounds crisp and lifelike that I often found myself lifting an ear cup in the middle of the night just to be sure something wasn’t actually happening in the real world. Combatants footsteps in first-person shooters sound sharp and clear and you can accurately tell where they are coming from. There’s also a great deal of separation between game music and effects like bullets or explosions. Ignore that disadvantage and you get some truly excellent sound. Once I started playing some music, I immediately noticed how clean and natural everything sounded. I could also hear far more detail in my music like Cymbals and harp strings that are usually lost. This is especially so with orchestral music. Hans Zimmer never sounded better. And with the sound free to flow out of the headsets, you get a sort of lighter or airy sound that feels like you are in the audience rather than listening to a recording.Miscellaneous: the GSP 500 uses the same break-out cord as the GAME ONE (i.e. proprietary), so if you already have a GAME ONE you can switch these cans out without having to fool around with wiring. The ear cup area was wider than the GAME ONE, so my ears actually felt less constrained. The headset tension against my head was not too much or too little, but I have an average-sized head. Finally, unlike one reviewer who (like me) shaves his head or is bald, I had no problems with the padding on the top of the headset or on the ears -- it was decent. The locational sound seems particularly good compared to all my old headsets, perhaps because (according to what I've heard elsewhere at least) it's optimized for 5.1 and most games max out at 5.1 as well.
