When the Beavers and Peter, Susan, and Lucy arrive at the Eastern Sea, where they find the Stone Table and Aslan, the great lion, Aslan asks where the fourth has gone, and Mr. Beaver explains that Edmund has betrayed them to the Witch. It is a well written fantasy story that is not too complex and, therefore, is accessible to young and old alike.
