I know my car’s head gasket has a rubber-like coating on it, so this is when ATP AT-205 Re-Seal Stops Leaks was recommended to me. I could see AT-205 working for cam/crank seals as giving those seals back some flexibility will make them seal better, but doubt it'll do much good for a leaking valve cover gasket. As a Hail Mary to get it over a time period before junking it okay but personally I am afraid of these type of products on anything worth keeping.
